Team Work

Team Work

Leaders set the culture of their organization.

That means their blind spots become the organization's blind spots.

My organizational work helps leaders and teams to resolve counterproductive and unrecognized habits, or blind spots, that create discord in their work, within a team culture, and in personal life. It supports leaders and their teams to create collaborative, innovative, thriving environments.

No team is the same- I customize an experience for each coaching package, workshop, or keynote to address the needs of the organization.

Blind spots are unrecognized habits that upset a leader’s work, their team, and their life.

All humans have unconscious blind spots. It’s not a question of whether or not they exist- it’s a question of whether we take the time to identify and resolve them.

Examples of leadership blind spots:

  • The leader who avoids hard conversations, setting honest boundaries, or “hurting” a team member… and allows negative behavior to drag their team down.

  • The leader who feels they have to do everything alone… and has not learned how to allow support or help their team to grow.

  • The leader who deals with consistent worry about their performance… even when they are receiving excellent feedback.

  • The leader who has gotten to their position through exhausting perfectionism… and has a high chance of burning out because they have not learned to rest.

Examples of Team Blind Spots:

  • The team where everyone is deeply worried about performance… and isolating rather than supporting each other to thrive.

  • The team that has a few loud, vocal members, while everyone else stays silent.

  • The team that believes more collaboration would be great… yet no one is collaborating.

Clients will experience:

  • Education about blind spots that plague leaders and teams.

  • Coaching for leaders to identify and resolve their blind spots (both personally and with their team).

  • Optional team sessions to collaboratively identify team/culture blind spots and create a new environment.

  • Training for leaders to refine their leadership style by growing through their old sticking points.

  • Training for leaders to coach/mentor team members to address fears, performance issues, negative behavior, etc.

The end result is a leader far better equipped to identify and handle their own blind spots so they can create deep, lasting transformation in their life and with their team.
